Will updates be problematic if I replace the WP_Cron?

Hi Daan,

I read this in the description of the plugin:

“…saves the analytics.js/ga.js/gtag.js-file to your website’s server and keeps it updated (automagically) using a scheduled script in wp_cron().”

Now I wanted to replace the wp_cron according to this documentation:

Will this be problematic for the plugin?
