Will updated posts get picked up by feeds?

  • I have been looking at some posts I have done over the last month, and want to add some more SEO rich content. If I update these posts, will the feeds and/or search engines recognize these as being update?

    Search yes, feeds I’m not sure about. I think … maybe. It depends on how they’re being cache. If someone’s subscribed to your feed, they don’t get the updates. If they subscribe now, they will.

    If you are using the XML Sitemap plugin, it will show the time stamp of all post revisions.
