• What I want to do is host 4-5 completely different networks on 1 hosting plan… Ill want em to have the multi DB plugin (if they share the sqls thats fine) I also want them to have the domain mapping ability (so individual blogs can have their own domain names)

The other thing I want is 1 of the networks to have buddypress on it without messing up the other 4 or so networks.

Im askin about the multidb as well as the domain mapping etc because those arent really traditional plugins.

Basically what Im wanting is this:
    1. a social network/store network (the buddypress one)
    2. then 1 network where people can have blogs and stores depending on their access level… the basic lvl would have a % taken out of every product they sold but as they increased lvls that % would go down but their monthly price would go up. I haven’t found any marketing plugin that allows all that so I was thinking of having different networks with different market settings then just move the persons blog to the different network…

Im not entirely sure if this is feasible but please let me know what you think.

    anyone know?

You asked a whopper of a question, only a part of which relates to this plugin.

You CAN have multiple networks on one hosting plan as long as your host lets you control DNS. You CAN run BuddyPress on one of the networks so long as you don’t try to run it on another network as well.

I can’t answer your questions about MultiDB or domain mapping, as I have no experience with either of those plugins. I have added some tags to this thread in the hope that someone who knows will be able to answer those questions.

if I can get networks to work is there a way even with a lil coding to automate the process of moving blogs between wordpress installs
