Will this work with Elementor forms?

    Hi,

    Before using this plugin, I need to know if it will work with forms created in Elementor. So, as an example, if I have a form created in Elementor on a landing page as a lead gen, will this plugin be able to create a new record in the Lead entity?

    we don’t specifically test with any framework, there are just too many.

    We generate form layout using standard bootstrap css elements so if Elementor honours and does not interfere with that then you’re all set. Otherwise you’d probably want to tweak css to suit your needs.

    Other alternative is to use forms with custom layout. I don’t think our plugin is going to work with Elementor form widget, if that’s your expectation but I’m sure there is a workaround for that as well.

    I’m a bit fuzzy on what CSS has to do with the plugin’s ability to trigger record creation, and execute the data population, in D365. Are you coming from the perspective of the plugin’s ability to recognize the field metadata in the form?

    I [mis]interpreted that your question is about whether the forms generated by our plugin work within Elementor layouts – hence CSS warning (because that’s the first thing that gets broken in page builders).

    We have the following form support available within the plugin:

    At the moment we don’t support forms generated by any other plugin or page builder (e.g. WPForms, Formidable forms, Elementor, WPBakery, etc).

    If you simply create a new form in Elementor, our plugin won’t have any visibility of that form (we can’t just go around intercepting all forms on the site ?? ). In that scenario there is no other way but to add a bit of custom code to parse the form submission and send it to CRM. Currently we don’t have any immediate plans to integrate with Elementor in this version of our plugin.

    It’s not a big deal but it’d be a custom development – feel free to reach out to [email protected] to discuss it in details. The other option that you have is to use a supported form builder with Elementor, e.g. Gravity Forms.

    Yeah, there might be folks that would get a bit touchy if their form data suddenly got hijacked ;).
