Will this plugin work for me?

Hi, I have a buddypress site, and I need to implement a specific way of handling private messages. Can you tell me if I can do the following?

– Send a message to all of my users
– Send a message to users in a single buddypress group
– Have a read receipt to know which users read the message
– Send an email to a user to let them know they have a new private message

I’m having a hard time finding information on how buddypress’ built in messaging works, so if you think I can do all of that through buddypress alone, please let me know.

I noticed this plugin shows if the message is read or unread, which is something I’m looking for.
