I have WP Mail Logging enabled on this site for years – a very useful tool. I recently developed another Gravity Form for the client which is now live. During testing, the 4 email notifications triggered on each submisssion were sent, but I’ve noticed that 2 of them don’t appear in mail logging on 3 recent form submissions, however I search for them. So I installed WP Mail SMTP plugin using Brevo service. I’ve just spoken with the client who now clarified that she HAD actually received the 3 email notifications that weren’t showing in your mail log!? I then just resent the 3 admin emails, via Gravity Form entries, with WP Mail Logging & WP Mail SMTP active. She got all 3 again, but they are NOT logged again in WP Mail Logging screen?

Does WP Mail SMTP interfere with WP Mail Logging and can I keep both plugins active. Any idea why your plugin may not be recording these email notifications that ARE being sent?

    Hi @dozza,

    Thanks for reaching out.

There is no known interference between the WP Mail Logging and WP Mail SMTP plugins. Both plugins should actually work beautifully together.

Regarding the logs not showing for successfully sent emails. There could be a number of reasons for this:

    1. Outdated Plugin and WordPress versions: Please check and ensure your WP Mail Logging plugin and WordPress versions are up-to-date.
    2. Plugin/Code Conflict: Do you have any other mailing / email log plugin activated on your site besides WP Mail Logging and WP Mail SMTP? These plugins could cause conflicts and affect the functionality of the WP Mail Logging plugin. Please check on these and deactivate them.
    3. Force from Email Option in WP Mail SMTP: This isn’t likely a cause of the issue you are facing but it may help to enable the Force from Email option in WP Mail SMTP. This will force your website to route all emails from the default WordPress email service to your WP Mail SMTP mailer. Thus, ensuring that these emails are captured in your email logs when they are sent.

I hope this helps. Thanks ??
