Will search engines work on all synced websites?

Hi I’m trying to have one site host a buddy boss community and the other a directory listing theme. I was wonder with that plug in will it be able to pull up search results from both sites. I plan on creating the other site as either ansubdomain or sub directory. I’m hopping to be able to have users search only the buddyboss theme and have the relevant directory listing on the other site come up on the results page. Is any of this possible?
