I have tried for three days to get this to work. But no matter what I do I see that if I create add a multiple product field and have a Total Field in my Gravity form. I can get it to work in a page but not in a PopUpMaker v 1.2.2 window. I am using a current version of Gravity Forms v 1.9.11 and a up to date version of the Stripe Addon v 1.7.3.

I am also hosted on WPEngine and using Genesis v 2.1.2 with a premium child theme.

My confirmation and notifications will not trigger and the payment does not go through. I would be happy to pay for such a feature especially if I can also have more than one popup on a page. I only allow them to popup on click.

My form is here and I currently have all the products set to 50 cents so I can test the page. Because there is no way to trust this scenario using the test mode. It has to be a live page. Learned the hard way

I really do like PopUpMaker but I need to know this works and suit my needs before I purchase the pro version.

    Thanks please let me know.

Here is an update to my dilemma. I contacted Gravity Forms. I shared with them the following:

Two pages as examples. One with the PopUp window using GF and their Stripe AddOn which does not work correctly and page that simply displays the Gravity Form without a popup which works just fine.

https://priscillac.com/pcgs-price-grid/ << click middle graphic to see popup
    https://priscillac.com/store/ << this one works

My issues with the total field and the confirmation and notifications not firing. I do see tokens at stripe but they aren’t moving forward to actual charges like the page.

    This was Gravity Forms solution:

There is a JavaScript error present on the page which is causing the issue with the modal. The error is due to jQuery and the form scripts being down in the footer. Can you try adding the following line to your theme functions.php file:

    add_filter( 'gform_init_scripts_footer', '__return_true' );

If adding that line doesn’t help you would need to contact the modal plugin developer for their recommendation about having it’s scripts included in the header instead of the footer.

It fixed the total field issue but not the completion of the Stripe transactions or the triggering of my autoresponders.

Can you switch it to test mode for the time being so that I can use test card #s. There may be JS errors occuring that we need to work out but without getting past token generation we cant determine this.

Once we get the process fixed, then you can test with live cards.

@priscilla – Hmm, it took me to thanks for your purchase. What is happening on your end?

    Perfection!

I got the notification message I created of your purchase, which I have not been getting and not been taken to the confirmation page. So this is a very good sign. You said you were taken to the confirmation page. Did you get an email notification (from me not Stripe) too? Because I have set up both for the user experience.

Wondering why I has been failing for me?

I will try from my laptop (different computer) and then switch to live and try again.

@priscilla – Yes I got the confirmation email. I am more concerned with does the payment show up in your stripe dash. If it does I would say things seem to be working, but definitely keep testing to be sure.

Its all so odd. The auto responders would not fire before and the Stripe account would only place the token in my log but not go further. Since I’m new to Stripe I had to question everything and not assume that things were working.

So my test via my laptop went off just like your test. Confirmation page, buyer notification and YES the total field is working! Or so I thought.

So I made the form live. But keeping the prices at 50 cents, etc.

I used my AMEX credit card and with a live Stripe account sent the form and the total worked, but none of the auto responders fired off.

Did you get a email from Stripe for your transaction because for none of these tests did I get one. That is what really tells me it is working 100%. So there is still an issue.

I need to leave my office shortly. What now?

I see now that you asked about my stripe dashboard.

No the live payment didn’t show up in my dashboard. It should have by now. I made a live purchase this morning via the form on the page that isn’t using a modal window. That one worked. That’s the one that counts, right?

Hold on a second. It may be working. For some reason I found a form error which popped up on my screen. Strange thing was it wasn’t there when I pressed the Buy Now With Stripe! button.

But I reloaded the page, submitted the form and was taken to the confirmation page. All auto responders fired, even from Stripe.

I checked my dashboard and see the payment. I will consider this resolved! Not sure what was going on.

If there is anything about your paid versions that you see can help me please point them out. I am not understanding what they really offer. I have a client who I am going to hook her up with your plugin too. But just for opt-ins Easy peasy.

    Thanks again!

@priscilla – Make sure you have verified your stripe account. When switching to live it requires a verification to occur on the stripe site. Without that it will return errors.

As for our products, if you are going to do optins you may be interested in Exit Intent which triggers the popups just before users go to leave. We have seen upwards of 700% increase in sign ups just by enabling that feature.

Please take a moment to rate and review the plugin and or support.
