Will not update live site

    I’m just trying out Elementor on a test site but I cannot get the changes to appear on the live site. The preview works fine.

    I have:
    – Confirmed Template status is Published
    – Purged the cache (no cache plugin installed)
    – Deactivated all other plugins
    – Am using default theme (Twenty Sixteen)
    – Enabled “Switch Editor Loader Method”
    – Set the value of WP-DEBUG to true in wp-config.php

  • What kind of changes are you trying to make?
    Can you follow these steps:
    1. Click Page > Add New
    2. Click ‘Edit with Elementor’
    3. Design your page
    4. Click ‘Publish’ (green button)
    5. Click on the arrow next to the green button and then go see the live page

    I simply added an image as a test to easily track changes. I think I figured it out but I am still confused. I was expecting the changes to appear on the home page (where my posts are displayed) but instead Elementor just creates a page. If I want to see that page as my home page then I have to set it has my home page (this step is not clearly defined in the docs I found). But then my posts do not appear on it, even if I set the posts page to the home page.

    To set any page as your homepage, you need to do it through the WordPress settings page

    Hi Ben. When I set the page I edit through Elementor, I cannot set it as my static home page. It gives error, what do you think I should do?
