Will not save my posts when I edit them with white space

I can edit and save some elements of my post, like pictures, color and bolding. But when I try to add some space between sentences/paragraphs (ie pressing enter multiple times) and click save draft, the post was not saved and it reverted to only one space between the paragraphs. Also tried to create white space and click preview post, but it reverted again to the single space.

Will wordpress not let me add white space. I believe that I was able to do this before, but something has changed possibly?
