Will not finish scan and all info and quarantined items missing

Thanks for reporting this bug. I found that the WP function current_user_can() cannot be called before /wp-includes/pluggable.php is included.

I have release a patch for this issue in version 4.15.22 that include the needed pluggable.php file before calling current_user_can.

Please upgrade to version 4.15.22 and confirm that it fixes the issue for you.

It is showing as 4.15.23? It still will not finish.

Sorry if I am not understanding this right but this new information actually suggests that the Complete Scan was started 3 hours ago did in fact run for 1 hour. The last scan that had not finished yet was only started 29 seconds ago, and that is not enough time to tell if it was going to finish or not. Can you please try the Complete Scan again, and give it a few minutes to get going, then post a screen shot of the progress if it is still not working for you.

I followed your suggestion and emptied the cache and rescanned it and now it is working fine. Any suggestions on how to delete cache without having to go into each folder to delete on server?

Whatever plugin you are using to create that cache should have a built-in method for deleting the cached content. You may also want to run some speed test metrics on the site with the caching turned off, then turn on the caching and run more tests to see if it really is any faster.

gtmetrix.com offers a good speed test. You may find that your site is not any slower without caching, or possibly even faster. Then you can decide if you even need to turn the caching back on at all.
