Will not delete old remote backups ignores retention settings

    Every week I need to log into Google Drive and delete old backup files. The plugin is set to only keep 3 (now changed to 2) sets of backups but it still isn’t deleting old ones. When I search I see people have had this issue for years now.

    Hi,

    Looking at the log, it shows that it is currently set to keep 6 backups.

    0093.256 (0) Retain: beginning examination of existing backup sets; user setting: retain_files=6, retain_db=6

    This backup is still within the retention limit. If that is really not what’s happening, can you send us a copy of the 3 backups that were created please?
