Will not completely uninstall?

  • We completely removed this plugin from our website months ago, but there’s still code from sharethis.com stuck in the source code. The plugin code isn’t cached and I’ve looked everywhere for the code. It’s not in my theme, it’s not stuck to another plugin.

    Please help me remove this code. It’s slowing down our website and worsening our Google PageSpeed. Our website is https://pitss.com/.

    I’ve read that you have to access your FTP client in order to remove the extra files. I’m waiting to receive the FTP credentials and I’ll reply again if I’m successful. I know a lot of people are having a similar issue so I’ll continue to update on my problem.

    Did you figure out how to remove the extra files? I am having the same issue.

    Can you let us know what steps you took to remove those plugin files?
