Will kill your SEO because users will be unable to click to load pages

  • I especially created an account to warn users about this plugin. I have an extensive portfolio page on my site and found that hovering over clickable images which would launch into a page the icon would not change from an arrow to a hand. I’d click on the images and nothing would happen. Maybe after a couple of seconds ( 10 or so) the icon would change ( randomly) and the image would be clickable again.

    I’ve had a massive decrease in click rates on my site because of this. People cant click on hyperlinked images so stop clicking and stop looking at my site.

    This is NOT a speed issue with my site. Its a pity as I’ve used this plugin for a while and haven’t had this issue before. So when i had a decrease in audience i couldn’t figure out what it was until i realized the click through issue and stopped the plugin.

    I cant risk this happening again so I’ve deleted the plugin.

    Hello @romeoalphakilosierra, we have released an update to the plugin that addresses the issue where images were no longer clickable.

    Please update the plugin and let us know if it resolved the issue or not.
