Will it ever be translated ?

I love this plugin, but will it ever be translated, or even translatable ? I’m willing to do it myself (for French), but since a couple updates ago the strings that used to be hardcoded in a single file are now all over the place…

There are a bunch of translated files in the folder pdfjs/web/locale, what are they for ? Can they be used in any way?
