I have several satellites websites with niche content, but these contents are posted using custom post types. And now I need to crosspost all of those custom post types to a unified website, also using the same kind of custom post types.
Assuming I just configured the right CPTs and taxonomies in all the sites, is this possible with your plugin?
    Thanks in advance

    Hi

    Thanks for your question.

This is a feature that i’m building into my Pro version of the plugin as we speak. I will be releasing the next update for Pro this weekend.

I will update you here once it’s available.

    Thanks

    Ben

    Thanks for the answer.
Also within my needs, the abovementioned posts are using shortcodes that need to be ported to the destination site, because all the sites use a theme based on Visual Composer.

I also ask: is it possible to post not only new contents, but to send to the destination site all of the already posted contents?

I forgot to mention: several of the sites I need to syndicate to the central one, are running within a multisite. Will it work?

    Hi

After some thought i’ve realized that although the pro plugin does 99% of what you want (custom post types, taxonomies, media, ect) the key problem is with the way you want to use it.

The plugin is designed as a content syndication network, pushing content from a single source to many subscribers. As such the reader plugin only supports pulling content from a single source.

You are looking at a many to one relationship. Having many sources pushing content to a single subscriber. This is the opposite to how this plugin was developed and i’m not sure its a common use case.

That said, I think we can customize the pro plugin via some filters and actions to get it to do what you require.

If you are interested in this we can discuss this as a custom project.

    Hello,

I’m actually looking for the exact same thing as Marcelo. We have many school websites, about a dozen and would like to pull content to our Academies Trust website.

I’m still searching for the best solution but I think this use case might actually be pretty common, there are lots of Organisations moving to WordPress who would potentially benefit from a plugin which supported the many to one functionality.

Perhaps you could develop two plugins simultaneously offering one-to-many and many-to-one.

I wish you luck with the plugin.

    Hi, Thanks for the feedback.

Top be honest if this were one of my clients i would heavily recommend you setup a wordpress multisite network for all your wordpress domains.

This would allow you to easily copy content from one site on the network to another (there are lots of plugins to assist this in a multisite setup) or you could have some custom built which wouldn’t very difficult when in a multisite setup.

    Hope this help!

This makes a lot of sense, I just need to do a bit of reading so I understand it better but I think you’re right and we may just end up with a mutlisite blog.

    Many thanks!
