Will iframes validate in RSS feed?

  • I signed up for the Amazon Associate program and want to include the iframe code in my posts that Amazon generates to include in my page. Although the preview displays fine in Firefox, I’m afraid the iframe won’t validate correctly or be displayed to RSS subscribers. I checked out a couple Amazon plugins, but none of them seem to include the pricing links for new and used book copies like Amazon’s iframe code does. So I guess I have two questions:

    1. If I just copy and paste the iframe code from Amazon into my WordPress blog entry, will it validate okay for everyone?

    2. If not, how can I make it work so that it looks as close as possible to what’s actually displayed by the Amazon iframe code? I want to include the image and text, includes the price.

  • Why not test it out yourself? Post something with the iframe code included and then validate the feed.

    Probably, you will have to replace all the & in the code with & – and then should be valid.
