Will I lose the "Likes" on my posts switching from wordpress.com to org?

  • Hi, I am ready to make the switch from wordpress.com to www.remarpro.com I was wondering two things:

    1. Will my “Likes” be transferred? Does www.remarpro.com use the same kind of Like Button?

    2. Will I still be able to use my wordpress.com Reader? I like to use that to network

    If anyone could answer these for me I would be extremely happy. Then I would be ready to take the leap. thanks

  • 1. Not automatically, no. You will need to speak to the folks over at wordpress.com about having these manually transferred to your self-hosted site.

    2. No. Self-hosted sites are completely independent – unlike wordpress.com sites which are part of a single network.
