Will Gutenberg reinstate support for NextGen and NextCellent galleries?

As of Gutenberg 3.5.0 there is no support for those galleries. No blocks will allow inserting images from them, and no featured images from them can be inserted. That makes a transition from classic editor to Gutenberg nearly impossible.

NextGen is working on it, You can download the Beta that includes Block support (as of 20 Nov 2018) here:
