Will custom roles remain if AAM plugin is disabled?

    I’m wondering if I need to keep the plugin installed after setting up a new role and renaming an existing one.

    The more advanced features I am not using.

    Will it still work without the plugin?

    @bkno yes, any changes to roles and capabilities are permanent and stored they will remain. You can safely deactivate AAM after you added new roles or changes/added capabilities to any roles or users
