WikiWP Theme Not Working

  • WikiWP theme did not load as shown in demo, and I cannot customize it like any of the examples shown at bottom of page below –

    Could that be because it’s not compatible with WordPress 6.0?
    It appears that WikiWP was created 2017.
    Will downgrading to earlier version of WordPress fix issues?
    If so, which version of WordPress?

    I created 3 posts to experiment with the theme.
    Logo image does not load upper left in left sidebar..
    There is no way to delete searchbar in left sidebar, or move it up or down.

    There is no way to create blocks of text or block headers with color backgrounds as seen on Wikipedia home page – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Main_Page

    There is no way to create 2 column text like under References at Wikipedia, or to add a column on right like seen on topic page here – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mechanitis

    Update –
    I’ve removed all items from right by deleting menu I had created.
    But Categories in left sidebar will not disappear even though I’ve deleted all of them in the widget.
    Also, footer info shown on page does not appear in any footer area of widget so it cannot be delete or modified – ? MOD?wiki | powered by the WikiWP theme and WordPress. | RSS
