wiki articles not showing on single.php

Thanks for posting on the forums.

This is a known thing and this doesn’t happen with with full version Wiki plugin as this free version of wiki plugin contains some code which needs to be refreshed and restructured.

This will be fixed in the future version of this plugin.

Could you please tell me what you are trying to achieve which is preventing by this issue?

I am trying that every logged in user can edit wiki post/page and logged in user can also submit new wiki post. All edited and new post must require admin approval before showing on front-end.

Every user can comment on any wiki post/page.
I create a comment form and its working well with page.php but it doesn’t appear on wiki post.

So tell me what should i do????

Thanks for clarifying that. It’s not currently possible to require admin approval on edits. Edits would automatically get published. But it is possible for admins to revert to previous revisions.

Regarding the comment form, I’m not quite sure I understand. Comments just need to be enabled for the discussions to work. And it should work by default.

I just want to make site as a wiki-pedia. I think every logged in user can update any post but old post will be shown on fronted until admin not approve an edited post.
is it possible in pro version of WordPress-wiki-plugin.

Thanks for your reply and clarification. The Premium version works the same as this free version with regard to edits.

I wonder though, perhaps the following will help you with that?

It allows you to require approval of edits and appears to support other post types. If I get a moment, I’ll test it myself, but I think it would work.

Edited post show directly without admin approval.

It is not good for my website i need edited post must be approved by admin otherwise old post will show.

Just checking, did you use the “Revisor” role that the Revisionary plugin provides?

It’s a special role that would include support for custom post types. You can change a user’s role to that by editing the user at:

yoursite.com/wp-admin/users.php

I used “Revisor” role it shows, a new tab in admin. Every edited post in save in “Revisor” with dtae.

But my problem is that its shows directly on frontend without admin approval. Admin can restore it.

I’ve taken a look at this and something like user role editor should work for this, or some custom code here from stackoverflow https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/17369/how-to-let-contributors-to-create-a-new-revisiondraft-editing-their-published

You’d just need to change the custom post type within any custom code to incsub_wiki
