    This is driving me nuts!
I’ve looked everywhere, and still can’t find where the width of that bar is stored!!!!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I’ve been able to re-size the width of the actual sidebar and main columns, but the gray bar remains the same size regardles.

    Do you mean from this?

    no.
    This one.
    /wp-content/themes/default/images/kubrickbgcolor.jpg
it’s a 60×60 image, and I guess it’s stretched to fit the entire sidebar. And that’s what I’m looking for!

No, that 60×60 gray image is used as the background color. I’m not sure if it’s even needed since you can set the background color through the body tag attribute. The sidebar grayed area is actually part of the larger graphic that includes the whole formated page. In my sidebar I’ve made that area 230pixels wide. If you are using Firefox as your browser, rightclick on the image and click on “View Background Image” to see it.

I guess I should post my site, in hopes to get a solution.

The end result is to make the right menu bar narrower.
I’ve moved the text over further to the right, and I’ve allowed the main section to be wider, but that damn grey bar is not in the right place.
Can you advise on how to adjust it? (based on what you see on the site above)

OK, save this image over your current one and see if it works. (deleted link)

    Thanks trendsurfer…
I feel kinda stupid…. I hadn’t once considered that the gray was part of the larger image (with the sides)
    All better now.

Looks like I can delete the file now. ??
