width of image in “cover” image

  • When I create a block using the “cover” type, the image I select is cropped about 10% on each side.

    Is there a way to prevent that? I’m using this block type with the “fixed” setting for a parallax image – and I want the use the entire width of my image.

    You could set a CSS attribute for it in the editor and then change the margin / padding in Additional CSS under the Customizer (under Appearance on the wp-admin menu).
