Widget/Shortcode no items after upgrade

    On a client website, I just updated to the latest version. The ratings are still there on individual items—and I see them under Ratings Items and in the Vote Log—but the widget and pages we’ve used the shortcode, now say “No items found.” Is there a way to recover that, so we can see top items again? Can’t see results as ranked list on frontend now, very frustrating, looks like no results.

    Hi,

    Nothing was changed to affect the widget or shortcode lists. Can you recheck (and resave) widget options to make sure they are set properly?

    Thank you for your reply. I did try that, both re-saving and also removing widget completely and re-adding. No luck. And with shortcode, it still just says “No items found” on page where I have used it.

    When I roll back to the previous version of your plugin, they are back including when using the shortcode.

    I also tried deactivating all other plugins in case of conflict, then also tried reverting to the default theme, still does not work. I have to use GD Rating System 1.3.1 to see the ranked entries again.

    For this client, it was a temporary need (ranking for a juried art exhibition, decisions have now been made), we can stay with old version. Still, odd! No one else has had a problem?

    I can’t find the problem with widget or shortcode, rating lists work fine with 1.4 version. Can you paste here exact shortcode you tried to use?
