• When dragging any/all widgets into the desired sidebar I find that the ‘save indicator’ (spinning circle graphic) NEVER STOPS SPINNING. The save button appears, and I’m able to type into the appropriate fields of the widget. But when clicking the SAVE BUTTON the spinning graphic continues to spin and the widget NEVER GETS SAVED.

    Anyone seen this particular problem before? More importantly, anyone FIXED this problem before or know what is causing it?

    Thanks!

  • It’s the same problem for me, too. Does anybody found a solution for this?

    I am having the same problem :/ some help would be greatly appreciated!

    @stidged
    Are you using wp 3.0.1? The original poster was. That is the problem with adding on to old threads. You should always start anew.

    Have you tried:
    – deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). Don’t forget the ones in mu-plugins. If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    Thank you for helping me!

    I have just done all you said, and the problem still remains

    Let me give you the full details.. I am running wp3.2.1 and twentyeleven.

    The standard sidebars work just fine, they save as they should. However I have added 5 more. The first of the five also saves, the rest of them regretfully don’t. ?? I suspect I might be missing inserting the sidebars somewhere that causes them to not save… but I double checked everything.. Any ideas? :/

    Dear Lord, when triple checking something did spot my eye.. forgot to capitalize certain ID’s. I’m terribly sorry, thanks for your assistance though!!
