    Hello,

I contacted your team on Twitter and they advised to come here to see if you guys can look into this. I’ve just installed the latest update only the other day when it released manually and I didn’t notice it at first but it’s wiping my widget boxes on the front page.

this is what the main page looked like before it happened…
    https://i1.wp.com/www.247united.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Capture.jpg?ssl=1

The main site is – https://www.247united.com

Now, this is what I’m left with –
    https://i0.wp.com/www.247united.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/wipe.jpg?ssl=1

I just put back the widgets again and pressed save and they just disappeared again. Can’t even restore a backup because it would wipe new content working on. Can you please look into this as soon as possible as now I’m saving my content offline as this bug needs to be resolved asap.

Oh ffs… It’s happened to all sites on the network, this is going to take me a day for it for all content to be restored

    Effecting sites:

    https://www.247united.com/baby
    https://www.247united.com/toddler
    https://www.247united.com/life

Please look into this, much appreciated.

    Hi,

I notice you’ve got Jetpack installed, they did have a bug that would lose widget content, this should now be resolved though so could you confirm that all your plugins are up to date?

    Hi Marius,

Many thanks for the quick reply, that sounds like the bug exactly whats going on. I double checked in network plugins and everything up to date. Even “update network” just in case. I’ve just started putting the site back together and I’m just seeing if it happens again now.

What I did notice was some of the widgets had been chucked into the “inactive” area for no reason but they were not the widgets that were missing. I’ll keep you posted in how this goes ??

    Hi Again,

I’ve actually now uninstalled Jetpack but the issue is still happening. Again the Widgets are moving straight from all the sidebars on anyone site and being placed in the “inactive” area. Is there any way to fix this as I’m due to launch my site next Thursday and it’s getting frequently annoying now running 5 sites and it “randomly” happening.
