Widgets to access custom post types

    I really like the additional widget areas in this theme and the helpful widgets for displaying the most recent posts for a category.

    Would it be possible to modify the widgets to allow selection of custom post types? That would be so useful for displaying events etc.

    If you can code on your own then you can achieve it via the child theme.

    Sure, I guess “do it yourself” is always an option.

    Perhaps my question should have been “would you consider adding it to the theme’s functionality in the supplied widgets?”

    We will discuss on this with our team and see about what can be done for same within theme update. But, this might be less likely to be added within theme update. Hope you can understand it.

    Hi, please consider this functionality. Am really having the same issue, I have done a couple of Google searches about it but there is no workaround for this.
