widgets reloaded – mulit cat widgets

    Think I’m heading in the right direction using widgets reloaded but not sure.

    I need a solution that allows me to have multiple category widgets with different categories in each widget.

    Thought widget reloaded was it(and probably is) but the exclude feature of the widgets reloaded category widget will only let me exclude by unique ID??

    This parameter takes a comma-separated list of categories by unique ID, in ascending order

    As far a I can see my categories only have “Name” and no unique ID.

    Any help or direction would be appreciated? What am I missing??

    This is a little ganky having to install a plug in to see id’s but oh well. I guess in 2.5 they removed the id’s or something so someone wrote a plugin to reveal the id’s.

    Once installed it will show id’s for categories as well as just about everything else.

    Using the Widgets Reloaded plug in and this plug in all you have to do is include or exclude the cat. id’s you want to show for each Category widget.

    Sorry I answered my own post but hope it helps someone someday.
