Widgets on sidebar don’t work

  • hi,
    from this afternoon (at list, I noticed it now) on my WP 2.7 I can’t use the sidebar.

    I’m trying to add new widgets (core widgets as well as plugin’s) but, once saved, they’re not addes.

    I tried to update a post, just to see if it was a db issue, but post has been updated regulary.

    any idea?

  • Are you sure that your theme’s sidebar is widget-ready? Edit sidebar.php and look for <?php if ( !function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') || !dynamic_sidebar() ) : ?>.

    If you can’t find that line, then your current sidebar would need to be edited before you could use widgets in it.

    This sidebar worked in the past, I mean, I noticed this iissue now, but it already has a few widgets, it can’t be widgets not ready..
