Widgets on dashboard not restricted

  • Hi,

    I am trying to restrict Text type widgets placed on dashboard from editor users and it is not working.

    I selected the widget Text from the settings option with the following description

    Select which widgets will be restricted to admins only.

    Would you please let me know if I am missing something?

    It’s not working that way. That option is for CMS site admins, to disable access to specific widets. But sidebar widgets – not dashboard widgets.
