widgets not showing in the widgets list

  • this is weird. i have many widgets installed,but on my widgets page (wp-admin/widgets.php) i can’t see them.and also are not showing on site either. anyone knows why?

  • Are you sure that your theme is widget-capable? Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?
