Widgets not showing at sidebar

  • I try to use widgets in the sidebar, but it is not showing at all. I drag and drop them in the area with “Sidebar 1”, configue and save the changes, but when I browser the website, it is nothing showing up in the sidebar, not even a word. I try it with different widget, no luck at all. Please help!!!

  • Have you tried using the default theme and see what happens there? It sounds like something is going on with the theme that you are using.

    How can I test it on the default theme, I Do use my customized theme. Please advise.

    Go to Appearance->Themes and change to Twenty Ten if you are using WordPress 3.0. or Kubrik if you are using a different version.

    Can I test this on my live server? If I switch it to Twenty Ten, is it going to change my website looking? How can I do it without affecting the looking of my live website.
