    Here’s the problem:

I have 80 products, all with an attribute called brand, with free value. 7 products with attribute “brand” have the value “James Almond”.

I just added a new product, added the “brand” attribute, and wrote “James Almond” inside.

Now, when I go to the store I can see the product in question when I filter the product results for that brand, but the widget is still only saying there’s 7 products. Additional attributes for this product aren’t picked up by the widgets, such as flavor.

    Here’s the strangest part:
IF I change the attribute value to anything else but “James Almond”, the product shows up and is properly displayed in all widgets. But when the attribute for brand equals “James Almond” exactly, it no longer shows in the widgets.

I have tried turning on and off cache, flushing, restarting etc to no avail.

Wrote? Is it not a global attribute then?

The issue is that the “WooCommerce layered nav” widget sorting by attribute “brand”, doesn’t pick up the last product with “brand” value corresponding to other products.

Product A Brand Attribute Value: James Almond
Product B Brand Attribute Value: James Almond
Product C Brand Attribute Value: James Almond
Product D Brand Attribute Value: James Almond

Result in widget: James Almond (3)

Product D is not visible to the widget when it has brand corresponding to James Almond.

    However, this works:

Product A Brand Attribute Value: James Almond
Product B Brand Attribute Value: James Almond
Product C Brand Attribute Value: James Almond
Product D Brand Attribute Value: Peanut

Result in widget: James Almond (3), Peanut (1)
