Widgets No longer hold data

    As you will see in the link provided I have put in the widget for a next match countdown – prior to the update it all worked and showed a countdown like the sidebar on the page. Now the widget will not hold any data. In preview – works great – update the page and the widget is empty. All the other information on the page is manually done as none of the pagebuilder widgets work anymore.

    Theme – Themeboy Pro
    Plugin – SportsPress Pro

    I have had to make major changes to the site as no information comes through in page builder widgets unless its the text one.

    I have been in contact with Themeboy/Sportpress and they have looked over the site and the error came back to PageBuilder.

    I have manually coded one page and all works fine but I want to be able to use this plugin like it used to work.

    Hi desccomputers,

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re experiencing an issue. So, to clarify, the issue you’re facing affects all widgets or only a few specific widgets (ie. the countdown widget)?

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue – it’s possible was introduced as a result of the SiteOrigin Page BUilder update. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? Please test by trying a direct edit to one of the affected widgets. You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

    If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

    If that doesn’t help, can you please try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the conflict is between SiteOrigin Page Builder and your theme.
