Widgets no longer appear on articles in the selected category

    Hi,

    Since the last version (I think 4.0.0 or 4.0.1), when I select the publication of a widget for a category (see here: https://i.imgur.com/N0jcsZB.jpeg), the widget only appears in the category archive, but not on the articles contained in this category (see for example articles in this category: https://www.un-jardin-bio.com/categorie/apiculture/ – the widget “J’installe une ruche dans mon jardin” should appear on the articles, for example this one: https://www.un-jardin-bio.com/installer-ruche-potager-legumes/ – but this is not the case).

    I would like to point out that there is no problem with widgets saved before the update… unless I save them again. So it seems that with the latest version, widgets are only registered for category archives, but not for articles…

    Thank you to confirm that I’m not the only one having this problem.

    Since my first message, I noticed that with the new editor, the category settings do not appear… this may have something to do with it.

    A new version of Widget Options has been released. Could you please update Widget Options to V4.0.3 and check if you still encounter this problem?

    Hi,

    Problem still occurs… widgets still do not appear on articles in selected categories. I specify that I deleted the caches.

    As you can see here https://imgur.com/5ougkbc, the categories option does not appear in the settings… And it does not appear either with the new editor: https://imgur.com/pZEZf4Y

    it still doesn’t work with version 4.0.4 (Fixed: All widgets showing in “customize” view ? NO.)…

    On the other hand, I do not appreciate systematically having an advertisement for the paid version of your plugin on all the pages of my dashboard… because no matter how much you click on the cross, it comes back as soon as you access on another page…
    Imagine if all plugin authors did this… there would only be ads on our dashboards!
