Widgets moving about on their own.

  • I have a theme with quite a few widget areas available, and what happens that even when I am not making changes, the widgets change spots on their own, filling the areas before them. Like they were set to positions from A, C, E, but all of the sudden I find them in slots A, B, C.

    I’ve filled the unused areas with empty text widgets, and that helped for a while, but for some reason I log on, and all widgets have been deactivated, leaving nothing but the contents of the area A in place.

    Truly frustrating as it’s a lot of widgets to move around and my site depends on them.

    Any tips?
