• Resolved Hosting 4 Less

    Hi,

The widgets admin javascript is not working properly on WordPress 3.6 so we are unable to move boxes around and click on the down arrows when using Firefox and Chrome. Using Internet Explorer it works but eats up a ton of CPU and is very slow.

This was not a problem on 3.5.2 and appeared on 3.6. We know it is this plug-in if we deactivate the plug-in the widgets screen works again.

    Thank You,

    Eric Holtzman

  • Hi there,

I’m having the same exact issue. I’ve tried everything suggested in other threads, including de-activating all plugins (though jetpack won’t let itself be deactivated), switching themes (thirteen three), clearing the cache, and trying different browsers. None of these work, and my widget section for any theme simply displays three widgets but does not allow me to do anything with them.

My web site is now essentially down until this is resolved.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Ulises

    Hi,

We found if we disable JavaScript in our Firefox browser we can access the widgets admin but this is a downgraded experience. As you click edit with JavaScript disabled you have to edit your widgets on a separate tab and manually set the placement number.

    Thanks

    Eric

    Hi,

Please update to version 0.2.9 to see if this helps your issue. The way we include JS has changed, and this may solve the problems you’re experiencing.

    Thanks,
    Stephen
