Widgets keep disappearing !

  • Hello
    Whenever I finish setting up my Widgets, it disappears after a while, and the theme turns to its original state.
    I’m using the latest version of WordPress, and i tried many themes.
    This drives me crazy as it only started happening recently.
    Can anyone tell me please what could be the problem?

    Hi there,

    The first thing I’d check is to make sure you’re running a version of PHP which is supported by WordPress, as this could cause issues if you’re running an outdated version. This can be changed with a simple phpinfo() function or check with your hosting provider. Secondly, check your PHP error logs and see if there are any errors being displayed that could help indicate what the problem is.

    Lastly, there could be some type of JS/jQuery issue with the site so I will attach a link on how to troubleshoot JS errors in your console here.

    I’m using a theme called lalita:
    https://www.game-toy.com
    I deactivated all plugins and I’m trying one by one.
    if I found that a plugin is causing this I will update this post, it may help others
