• Hey everybody!

My company is developing widgets to help drive traffic to small websites. I’m looking for opinions from people who use software like WordPress.

So, here’s my question: given the basic premise that our widgets will allow visitors of your site to interact with each other in real-time, what features do you feel are most valuable?

    1) Statistics – We can display information related to how many visitors are currently viewing your page, the URLs they came from, and what URLs they are clicking on now. We can show your visitors the HOT SPOTS on your page.

    2) Text Chat – Your visitors will be able to discuss your content with you or each other in real-time.

    3) Web Ring 2.0 – We can track others who are using our service and create web rings which will offer links for your site to visitors of other similar sites. We can infuse this system with incentives (like point-based game metaphors) in order to drive traffic around your web ring.

This is just a few of our ideas. But if none of these interest you, and we were able to engineer your dream user experience, what would it be?

Your comments are much appreciated! Thanks!
