• About a week ago, the widgets on my site disappeared – all the content was gone and they were not displayed on the site (e.g. testimonials section, our team section, our focus section – all gone).

    I re-uploaded the content and it was fine for a while, but then today I find the same thing has happened. I haven’t updated the theme or WordPress (I’m already running the latest versions) – it just happens out of the blue.

    Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Are you using any plugins? If you do, please try to disable them and see if those are causing the issue.

    No plugins at all actually – I did install one a few days ago, but that was after the widgets had already disappeared twice…

    It’s the latest version. I update it whenever a new one comes in, and all seems fine afterwards.

    I thought it was fixed by deleting an old plugin, as it hadn’t happened in a while. But this same problem just happened AGAIN. I spent an hour or so fixing it just now. Please help. Thanks.

    Thanks. Do you have an example? I’m sure there are a bunch of these as you say, but my search doesn’t bring up any obvious candidates.

    Also, I’d love to know how this can happen so randomly? It just happens without me doing anything, which is pretty stressful as I have to keep checking my site all the time.

    This plugin hasn’t been updated in over 2 years but i think it will work.

    By the way, your issue is not global there is something to do with your WordPress or you can also ask hosting provider about it.
