• I just installed Kuorinka theme on my site today, and the widgets are acting weird. I’m running a child theme (not sure if that is the problem).

When I add widgets they look and work as they are supposed to.

Then when I log out, some of them disappear. I can’t figure out the connection.

Two were for OIO ads – one remains (which you can see in the sidebar) – the other disappears. Others were for custom html for a Get Response webform, and a Google ad code… both disappear, but another html code for the ‘current planets’ remains.

Any ideas what might be causing this odd behavior?

As always I appreciate the wisdom and generosity of the wp community.

    Thanks,

    Ruth.

I activated the theme without a child theme and it is working perfectly. I don’t know what the issue was but I’m fine to continue without using a child theme for this site. BTW I love this theme – it’s ease of use and clean look. Thank you to everyone at Foxland for designing this!

Hi Kathleen. Thanks for your kind words.

It’s hard to say what is causing the issue in your child theme. I’d start debugging from CSS.

Thanks for your response Sami – I’m not CSS savvy and don’t have the time to learn, so I’ll just run the site on the main theme and forget about the child theme!
