Widgets, cutline and WordPress 2.9

  • Anyone else having trouble with WordPress 2.9 and the cutline theme? I can’t seem to add widgets to the 2nd sidebar. I had not had this problem until I upgraded to WordPress 2.9. Is there any way I can back back down to a previous version of WordPress?

  • Once you upgrade, it’s pretty much set in stone. You might try downloading the latest version of the theme and if that doesn’t work emailing Chris Pearson.

    I don’t think Chris supports this theme anymore. I saw something about him selling it to some other company. That other company does not appear to be doing anything (at least when I looked yesterday).

    Consequently, since I want a WP 3.0 site built on the style of Cutline 3-column split, looks like I’m on my own and should start from scratch.

    Is that right?
