widgets area for homepage is suddently empty

    What a mess: The placed widgets on a homepage are suddently gone. The design/widget area on backend for homepage is empty now, nothing in it, as if there has never been a defined widget. Only header and footer is visable.

    A backwpup backup is done daily for database and weekly for files. I‘m wondering in which and where of these backups i can find the settings for the widgets on home page and of course how to restore them. Everything worked well till yesterday evening.

    Any hint for solving this bad issue is very much welcome

    Hi @chrisesch
    Maybe you could try restoring the most recent backup files(the last 3 backup files maybe) to see if the widget got recovered
    I hope that it could help ^^
