• I had wp 3.6.1 installed when I saw that I couldn’t access my widgets anymore. They are still working, but when I click on one, they won’t show the content of that widget, which is there for sure.
So, I’ve updated to 3.8, hoping that this would resolve my problem easy. But I’m still having the problem.

    Anyone experienced this before?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

I think that I will make a copy of the site and experience in there, so nothing could be lost in the proces.

I will try your hints Esmi, thanks. I will let know if it works.
