Widgetizing Theme ‘Ambiru’ by Phu

Hi,

I am a wildlife photographer based in Mumbai, India (www.meethil.com)

I am in the process of installing a WP blog. I zeroed-in on this theme “Ambiru” by Phu. But was very disappointed when i realised it is not widgetized and WP 2.5 does not recongize its sidebars.

I like this theme a lot bcos of its neat-and-clean layout. And the sidebar being at the bottom, in a 2/3 column format is really the way i like it.

I tried using the documentation available at WP but the widgetized sidebar i made was a single column one and i could not break up the layout in 2-3 columns.

Can anyone help me with a widgetized version of the sidebar in this format. It should be a 3 column widgetized sidebar at the bottom, like in the original theme. I have increaded the width of the theme from the fixed: 500 to fixed: 700 to better use the screen space/resolution in new monitors/LCD.

Some one please help.
