Widgetizing my editted Theme

  • I’m using the Nishita 1.2.1 theme, though I’ve done some cosmetic editing it. I’d like to add widgets to my site, but the theme is not “widget ready” and I’m not exactly handy with coding. Would anyone be able to tell me how to go about wigetizing my theme?

  • That theme is over 2 years old! Are you sure you want to work on recoding it? Its going to be missing out on quite a few features that WP now offers.

    is a good start, there are many more resources available on google. However, like I said, you are going to miss out on a lot. There are many much newer photoblogging themes out there
