Widgetized homepage?

    Im having trouble looking for a theme/template for my wordpress site.

    The main content/homepage needs to be entirely plugins.

    1st column with a latest posts blog roll plugin
    2nd column with google newsfeed plugin
    3rd column with twitter feed plugin
    4th column ads

    I dont know what to look for in a template, Do I look for one that is “a widgetized homepage” since almost everything on the homepage will be a plugin?

    if a template says that “it has 11 widget areas” on the homepage what does that mean?
