Widgetized Home Page not being redirected to cannonical URL

Since October my widgetized home page does not show the updates when someone types in the URL without the www. The most current posts on that page do not update. When the correct URL is typed with the www, or when following any link on the site to the home page, the newest posts are shown.

My web host doesn’t know how to help. I’m using the Speedy theme, and the site is at https://www.UltimatePaperMache.com

At this moment, the image showing in the slider should be a blue castle. I’m seeing a cow, instead, when I don’t add the www.

Every page and post except the home page automatically redirects to the www. version, like it’s supposed to, and every other page and post updates the way it should.
