Widget works, but links are broke, sends to 404

The events show up in the widget and if you got to the event page they show up, but when you click on them , instead of it directing you to the event it says Error 404 not found
i can see the pages in dashboard, it lets me bring them up to edit, but when you click on the links even from dashboard, it just goes to the 404
